The Triple Effect Face Lift

Don’t worry though, it’s a 100% non-invasive and non-surgical technique which uses a unique combination of thread lift, platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy and botulinum toxin.

We use this special programme of treatments, which are more effective when used together than on their own, to achieve improvement in facial contouring; addressing sagging skin in the cheeks, brows and jawline, leaving you with a result much like a surgical face lift.

Thread Lift

Thread lifts are available using PDO threads. PDO or polydioxanone is more commonly known as dissolvable stitches which have been used in medicine for decades. PDO is designed to dissolve quickly, and will be reabsorbed by the body in less than a year; this can mean that the lift achieved using PDO threads is more temporary than with other thread solutions.

We use a different medical-grade material called PCL or Polycaprolactone. PCL threads are both strong and longer-lasting. They give an effective lifting action in the tissue, whilst stimulating the formation of new collagen and elastin fibres around the thread, creating smoother, tighter skin. PCL threads last around two years before they are reabsorbed.

Thread Lift + PRP Plasma + Botox Effect

PRP Plasma Lift

PRP is short for Platelet Rich Plasma. It is a natural therapy that has been used in other areas of medicine for many years, before the benefits to cosmetic medicine were discovered. The therapy uses the plasma found in a sample of your own blood, which is concentrated to make a rich liquid that is packed with your own platelets – these growth factor rich platelets can be reinjected into your skin where we want to stimulate cell regeneration to rejuvenate tissue.

Adding PRP back into the skin gives it a kick start to producing new collagen cells, just what you need around an area where we have already placed our thread lift. This will further enhance the performance of the thread lift as it’s like adding extra ‘fertiliser’ to grow more collagen and elastin.

Botulinum Toxin Lift

To complete the Elite Face Lift, we can use botulinum toxin. This is a prescription only medicine, so you will have a thorough consultation with our prescriber who will explain if adding Botox® to your face lift programme is the right choice for you. Botulinum toxin can be used to treat the neck muscles, known as platysma muscles, as well as the jaw area or masseter. Treating both areas with botulinum toxin can reduce the appearance of the so called ‘turkey neck’, as well as contour the jawline and reduce a heavy-looking jaw. Our expert practitioner can also place small amounts of Botox in the muscles around the chin and lower cheek to stop additional downward pulling which may be causing jowls at the sides of the chin.

This triple effect, non-surgical face lift uses the right combination of aesthetic treatments to achieve a synergistic result of lifting, natural collagen stimulation, plus facial contouring through selective management of facial muscles.
