WHAT IS THREAD LIFT?
Thread lifts are available using PDO threads. PDO or polydioxanone is more commonly known as dissolvable stitches which have been used in medicine for decades. PDO is designed to dissolve quickly, and will be reabsorbed by the body in less than a year; this can mean that the lift achieved using PDO threads is more temporary than with other thread solutions.
ELITE THREAD LIFT
We use a different medical-grade material called PCL or Polycaprolactone. PCL threads are both strong and longer-lasting. They give an effective lifting action in the tissue, whilst stimulating the formation of new collagen and elastin fibres around the thread, creating smoother, tighter skin. PCL threads last around two years before they are reabsorbed.

The application of the thread is practically non-invasive and painless. It takes about 50 minutes, leaves no scarring or cuts and the slight redness usually disappears within a few days. First, the area to be treated is injected with local anaesthetic. Then, PDO threads, which stimulate the skin tightening, are inserted into the skin. The PDO thread is inserted using a cannula or a micro-needle into the required area. The threads trigger a skins rejuvenation process -producing new collagen, which helps to; lift and tighten the skin, smooth the wrinkles, shrink the pores and enhance the volume, giving a more youthful appearance to your skin.
The patient is able to fully resume their everyday routine and social commitments within a couple of days. PDO Therapy is a tailor made treatment, which can be adjusted to individual needs at any time.
HOW LONG DOES A THREAD LIFT LAST?
PDO Beauty Lift Threads are dissolved slowly and predictably, and are completely absorbed within 180- 240 days. Results are individual, however they tend to last for about 12-24 months.
